For the past 10/11 days I have set my thermometer on my cell phone before going to bed in hopes of being able to do the bbt thing.
Here is how my morning usually goes
4:20am cell alarm goes off (random tones)
4:25am another cell alarm goes off (jane fonda by mic.key Ava.lon)
4:30am my clock radio across the room goes off, I get up, hit snooze (this is the point I become somewhat coherent), head back to bed, see my cell phone and thermometer thrown to the side and think CRRRRAAAP! I was going to temp this morning, fall back to sleep for 10-20 more minuets with random alarms going off, Pablo makes fun of me for having "8 million alarms", and I finally get up.
This morning was different, this morning at 4:25am my cell alarm went off and I remember to take my temp – 96.8. wooo hooo. At this point it means absolutely nothing, but if I can make it a consistent routine I will have one more thing to obsess over during this process.

You do know you have to temp before you even get up, so the across the room alarm would offset your real bbt, right?
Good luck! I just used to temp during my normal wakeup time. No alarms needed.
