I think I did more this past week than I have this entire pregnancy, and there is still so much left to do. I think about 60% of the house has been moved (I mostly did cleaning, that’s probably only about 40% done). I want to have everything done by this Saturday, which means we may have to make up that day of the assembly.
We think we have a name picked out. I expected it to take a lot longer, but having a name makes me feel a lot more prepared for some reason. Although, having a girl still freaks me out.
We tried to buy an outfit on Friday night, but everything is either pink or says something about being a prince, we are not on board with this. We’ll have to try again this weekend.
We saw her move for the first time this weekend. On the ultrasound she was doing lots of stretching, and after Pablo started talking to her over the weekend my belly started to move in a way that seemed like we were seeing her stretch.

What changes are occurring with your body?
Your figure is continuing to change, and most people can recognize that you are pregnant, especially if you are only wearing maternity clothes. However, there are many other changes that are occurring that no one can see. Your cardiovascular system is also affected by your pregnancy, and you may experience some low blood pressure. This is why it is important to make sure you go from a lying/sitting position to a standing position slowly. This decreases the amount of dizziness that you may experience.
Your baby is now around 7 inches long and weighs 5 ½ ounces. (The tech showed up where her feat and hear at, she is laying diagonal across my belly and counting her legs she stretches across about 10 inches)
What is happening with your baby?
A protective covering called myelin is beginning to form around his/her nerves. This covering will continue to form up until your baby’s first birthday. If you are having a little girl, her fallopian tubes and uterus have positioned themselves into the correct place. If you are having a little boy, then his genitals may be noticed on your next ultrasound. However, many babies do not like to cooperate during the ultrasound, and the genitals cannot be seen.
From WebMD
The rapid growth spurt is tapering off, but reflexes are kicking in. He can yawn, stretch and make facial expressions, even frown. Taste buds are beginning to develop and he can now distinguish sweet from bitter. The baby can suck and swallow, and he may even get the hiccups. The eyes have become sensitive to light, so if a bright light is shined on your belly, baby will probably turn away. Your uterus, about the size of a cantaloupe, can be felt just below your navel. You're most likely feeling the baby move at this time.
