Blog Title Change

Anyone notice the change in the blog title? Anyone, anyone? No, that’s ok. We were previously "life at 355" but WE ARE MOVING! A whole half a bock away, so its now "life at 335".

We went yesterday and signed all the paper work and we pick up the keys on Friday. Now all that’s left is to pack (which I think is way over rated) and actually move.

I am going to miss our current house. It’s a very cute craftsman’s style house that was remodeled about a year before we moved in. It came with all major appliance and some very cool kitchen accessories, and best of all central AC. But we have outgrown it, and with a baby on the way things would have been way too cramped for my liking. In fact I think one of my favorite things when we moved in was it had tons of extra space and we lacked the furniture to fill it.

The new place has twice the bedrooms (4), bathrooms (2), and living rooms (one will be an office), a dinning room and breakfast nook, and tons of storage we hopefully won’t fill but probably will, all for the same low low price, ok may not low but at least we won’t be paying more. I’m going to go ahead say it’s not as cute, but it’s nice and will be a much better living situation so I guess I can sacrifice the cute factor. Oh and we will have 2 working fire places’ instead of one non-functional one.

We also get lead paint and heater vents about face level for a child that is crawling. So we will be investing in oh so fashionable safety products and hoping our kid does not lick the walls.

My next 3 weekends will be filled with deep cleaning and watching people pack. I can’t wait!
