25 Weeks
Trying to get things ready for when I am on leave and actually having to work is really cutting into my internet time.
It’s raining and I love it! I woke up at 1:30 last night and it was pouring and I was so happy. Old woman apparently do not like the rain and the ones I work with are really messin up my mood, I’m ready to throw my stapler at someone.
This weekend was super fun!
Saturday morning we drove up to Az.usa canyon and had coffee and breakfast and hung out for a couple of hours.
I did a little (very little) cleaning when we got home and then got ready to go to dinner in Pasa.dena. Dinner in Pasa.dena was actually how surprise shower, which was AWESOME. We got tons of cute clothes and the bath tub and boppy I wanted, I am in love with everything. The shower was super fun and I love that I have friends that wanted to do that for us.
Our camera charger is still missing so I am going to have to ask people to e-mail me the pictures they took, and once we find the charger I will take pic of all the fun stuff we got and I’ll post those.
Having a shower and baby items in the house and only 15 weeks left is making me nervous.
I think she turned over the weekend. Saturday night I was feeling crazy hard kicks and punches on both side of my belly and by Sunday afternoon I started feeling movement up by my ribs and usually its down low and on my left side. I am guessing she will probably flip back and forth for awhile but I noticed last night I am a lot more comfortable with her in her current position. I know I complained about her pushing in my ribs, which is not happening right now, but overall I am more comfortable. I actually don’t think I realized I was uncomfortable until last night when I felt so much better all of a sudden.
Monday update
You are currently in Week 26
From APA-
What changes are occurring with your body?
The top of your uterus can now be felt about 2 ½ inches above your belly button. During the remainder of your pregnancy you will grow about a ½ inch per week. If you have been watching your weight throughout your pregnancy and have been sticking to a balanced diet, your weight gain should be between 16 and 22 pounds.
How big is your baby?
Your baby is approximately 13.38 inches long and weighs 2 pounds.
What is happening with your baby?
The development that is occurring at this stage may seem small and insignificant, but it is very important as your baby begins to prepare for his/her entry into the world. The nerves in the ears are developing and allowing your baby to respond more consistently to the sounds that he/she hears. Your baby is also continuing to swallow amniotic fluid which is causing his/her lungs to develop.
From WebMD-
As the fetus reacts to sounds, its pulse increases. Your baby will even move in rhythm to music. Lungs are growing but are not yet mature. Patterns of your baby's brain waves appear like a full-term newborn. It also has patterns of sleeping and waking. The baby's constant movements should be reassuring. You'll be putting on weight at the rate of about 1 pound per week now. (UGH I hope not) You may be feeling some rib pain as your baby grows and pushes upward on your rib cage. The pressure may also cause indigestion, heartburn and shortness of breath. You may even be feeling stitch-like pains down the sides of your abdomen as your uterine muscle stretches.

How awesome abot your suprise shower!
Oh - and I freaking LOVE the rain.
Friends are amazing and I'm not surprised you have so many. I may be getting old, but the rain doesn't bother me a bit. You may want to try a 3-hole punch set in addition to the stapler...I hear they are great for throwing ^..^
