33 Weeks

Last week I completed the first of 4 full work weeks till my leave begins.

Last weekend was ridiculously full.

Friday -

I didn’t do anything but Pablo went to a hockey game and even though he didn’t get home late we didn’t end up going to bed till after 11.

Saturday -

We are trying not to sleep in super late on the weekends that way we don’t waste our days off and getting up Monday morning isn’t so hard, or at least it’s not supposed to be. We got up around 7 and procrastinated till about 10 and since it was than too late to do anything productive with the morning we went to breakfast. After breakfast we were going to go to old town Pasa.dena but since it was raining decided to go to On.tario Mil.ls ma.ll. Turns out they have the same stuff as Pasa.dena and for like half the price. We here by boycott Pasa.dena and all its fashionable lies. After the mall we took a 3 hr nap (big mistake). A friend called and got us to get our lazy selves out of bed by inviting us to dinner. Dinner was at this small Thi place, and after dinner we decided to go to a movie. Even though we have decided to boycott Pasa.dena’s retail stores we will still take advantage of their food and $3 movie theater. We got home at about midnight but thanks to the 3 hour nap I don’t think either of us actually got to sleep till after 2.

Sunday -

Kyle had his first wrestling tournament. I’m not really sure who sets this stuff up but weigh in was butt early in the morning and we had to be to our in-laws house at 6:30 which meant getting up at 5:30 for me and 6:00 for Pablo. Watching kids compete in sports is WAY more entertaining than watching professionals regardless of the outcome or how sleepy you are.
After the tournament we went to lunch, than everyone watched a movie/napped.
We got home around 3pm and got ready to go to dinner with my dad and his wife. Dinner was super good and although it was a short visit it was nice to spend time with them.
We actually got home at a reasonable time on Sunday. and I had every intention of doing laundry when I got home but decided 8:30 was late enough and went to bed.

We have at least 1 thing planned for each weekend from now till I am term (March 7th) so I have a feeling this next month is going to fly by.

Monday Updates

You are currently in Week 34

(33 weeks and 1 days)

From APA -

What changes are occurring with your body?
The top of your uterus can now be felt approximately 5 ½ inches above your belly button. It is important to remember that every woman's pregnancy is different, so there is a good chance that your measurement will not be identical to that of anyone else. The most important thing is that your uterus is growing at a consistent rate.
Typically the amount of amniotic fluid peaks between 34 and 36 weeks. At 37 weeks the amount of amniotic fluid begins to decrease to allow more room for the baby. The amniotic fluid is reabsorbed by your body, which also increases the amount of room that the baby has to move. You may begin to notice that your baby's movements feel different.
You may have noticed that your belly button has become an "outie" or that it is extremely sensitive. If this is the case, you can take a small piece of tape or a band-aid to cover it. This may be extremely helpful if it pokes through your clothes.
- Yeah that would have been helpful like 6 weeks ago

How big is your baby?
Most likely your baby is somewhere around 17 ½ inches long and weighs around 5 to 5 ½ pounds.

What is happening with your baby?
During the last several weeks, we have discussed that your baby's body has begun to fill out with the formation of fat under her skin. This is an important part of development because these fat stores will help the baby to regulate her body temperature once the baby is born.
The central nervous system is continuing to mature, and the lungs are well developed. While most health care providers would ideally like you to carry up to 38 to 40 weeks, your baby has a good chance of surviving outside of your uterus at this time.

From WebMD -

Baby has probably settled into the head-down position and is moving less frequently. Organs are now almost fully mature, except for the lungs, and the skin is pink instead of red. Fingernails reach the ends of fingers, but toenails are not yet fully grown. As your uterus prepares for labor, you may be feeling more Braxton Hicks contractions.
