Weight 8lb 2 oz
The fact that she can left her head does not make her a super baby, just normal since this is something all new borns should be able to do.
She can see and hear which I was pretty sure of before the visit.
The freaky gagging/chocking thing she does is reflux so we are supposed to keep her upright after feeding, and sleeping in a car seat or swing is recommended.
They cauterized her belly button which she hated!
I think she pretty much hated the whole visit but survived, we got back in 6 weeks.

Poor little baby girl. Someone needs to beat up those mean doctors. I really think she can see good she was really responding to my conversation this weekend. I think she is smiling for reals now not just gas as everyone has said up to this date. She is a sweetheart just like her mommy!:)
I can't believe she's already 3 weeks old! We can't wait to see her again...

I forgot to email you back on the reflux thing. What you described in your message does not sound like what my daughter had. She spit up all over the place all of the time. So maybe she's getting some esophageal "back wash" that isn't resulting in a full spit up?? Anyways, Frannie slept in her carseat for about 4 months. We also tipped her crib mattress. Due to her frequent spitting up even during sleep, I flipped her over to her tummy so that it would go out of her mouth rather than cause her to gag/choke. She is still alive.
Hey guys!! She is so beautiful! And she looks like her Papi! How can she look like Papi and be cute?
Can't wait to meet her in person.
XOXO,
Perla
