I’m trying not to use the word “suck” and thought lousy was a good replacement, what do you think?
A few weeks back I caught Keelin staring at her hands and said oh I think she is going to discover her hands soon, since than she has gotten really good control over them. I was expecting her to give some show of profound revelation, maybe have a conversation with her new found friend, but now I think that was probably the moment she discovered them.
At the beginning of this month I saw her staring at her feet, bending her body in half trying to get them, and finally reaching down and grabbing her toes. I got a picture of her grabbing onto them and I know about when that happened but not the exact day, and I think the day she was sitting staring at them and leaning forward towards them was actually the day she discovered them.
She has been cooing and “talking” for weeks but much like with her hands and feet she was laying in bed one morning and started getting really loud, she’d make a noise and pause and I said oh I think she is going to discover her voice soon. Since than she has been extra chatty, and has several new sounds so now I’m thinking that was the day she discovered her voice.
Along those same lines about a week ago I was visiting work and I said to a friend that I thought Keelin would be much easier to keep entertained if she could pick things up and hold them in her hands. Over the weekend Pablo put her in this boster seat thing we have and set plastic rings on the tray, guess who can pick things up and hold them with her hands? I’m like the mom that can't figure out why her 3 year old isn't talking as she hands them everything they point at.
She hates being on her tummy so today I laid her on one of our really flat living room pillows to see if maybe she would tolerate it better, she did, and she rolled over 3 times, but I’m not sure it counts because the pillow may have aided her.
Her baby calendar is going to be sparse.

Yeah milestone don't come with a marching band and wistles blowing so it takes some effort on our part or guess what to look for when it happens. Keelin is a thinker like her Uncle Carl so she is a little quiet about what she is doing. Ane now that I see her on the pillow I don't think that would really be cheating since beds are soft and they a lot of times first roll over on something like that. Before you know it she may roll all over the house. Carl found that much more convient then the crawling thing. lol
And you could never be worse then me on keeping baby books and picture ablums I am like the worlds worst when it comes to them.
If Keelin is two months and four weeks doesn't that make her three months. lol
