I Need to Blog

I need to do keelin’s 8 and 9 month update and I suppose I should say something about the close of the year. Since I am out of practice I will start by attempting to fill out this quiz I stole from another blog


End of Another Year

1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?
Had a baby

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't make em

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes my best friend Ashley had a little boy a week before I had keelin, 2 friends from my congregation had little girls, and several co-workers had babies.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
I don’t think so.

5. What countries did you visit?
None. But we really need to go to Mexico to get Keelin a blanket

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
a vacation, and yes I realize I only worked for the first 2 months of ’09 and we did take impromptu trips up north and we went to Chicago, but I want a planned out all FUN vacation.

7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
April 3, it’s the day keelin was born and October 31st, it’s the day I was reunited with my big brother.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Having a natural birth and breastfeeding.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Cooking and cleaning. My house is a mess and we eat way too much fast food

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
a cold and breast infections UGH

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Our king size bed

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I’d say my mom, she has been really generous and made sure keelin has not been without anything she needs. And she managed to keep her sanity while people around her fell apart

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Appalled and depressed seems pretty extreme

14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Having delegates for the convention

16. What song will always remind you of 2009?
Probably anything from the Juno soundtrack

yes, with keelin.

No

The vaccine book (that’s a little sad)

A healthy baby.

to meet my friend ashley’s little boy

I know we went to the movies, I just don’t remember loving anything we saw, we did rent changeling and I really liked that

I turned 26.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
getting to keep my job and work from home

new mom

Only that this world is going to hell in a handbag

I love you Lisa and your beautiful family. I do what I can out of love and appreciation for you and Pablo. I love being a grandma and would go the extra mile for any and all of my kids. These are tough times and it is so good that we can be here for each other.
