The End of an Era

It’s been 2 weeks since Keelin last nursed. When I started working her nursing first in the morning stopped being a lazy way to start the day. I was rushing around getting ready and would usually have to pull her off which caused a meltdown AND she started getting another molar and still had not figured out how to be nice so I decided to just end it. Wednesday the 26th, the first time she was denied, was an earth shattering event in deed, oh the tears that fell. I have to say though that is the only feeding that was so heart breaking to stop. Thursday she was whiny but took the cup of milk and bowl of cereal offered and by Friday she was over it. I think she asked once maybe twice after that, but it’s been a good week since she’s given it any thought.
