Why do people think its ok to comment on a pregnant woman’s food?
I have fruit and crackers in the morning. I start or am supposed to start work at 6am, there is a long time between the time I eat breakfast and my 12pm lunch break. I started having snacks in the morning when I was counting my calories, but now all of a sudden my snacks are a topic for discussion and I must have the munchies. I don’t have the munchies! let me eat my snack in peace.
I have never been very good at figuring out what to have for lunch, and I decided that lunch meat is too much trouble so I am avoiding it all together. I have lean pockets, frozen pizza, lean cuisine, and other things I find in the frozen food section. I know these are probably not the healthiest choice but they require no prep and are not going to hurt the baby! When it gets cold I will start bringing soup, and now that I’m sitting here complaining I remembered that I used to like chicken salad so maybe I’ll bring that a couple of times next week. But I am going to continue to eat frozen food and people, especially those who have never had kids need to keep their opinions to themselves. And if I want candy, which I don’t, but if I do I am going to eat that too.
Oh and I know the “hey fatty” comment was supposed to be funny, but it wasn’t, and I’m still annoyed.
Mmmmm lean cuisine chicken and rice bowl.
