34 Week Dr. Appoitment

Everything was pretty much the same as the time before.

Dr. M explained to me that he was putting in for a consult with the anesthesiologist just in case there was a need for an epi or spinal block; he said he expected to have approval from the insurance company and the appointment set up sometime in the next week. It’s funny because I asked them about this appointment at my last 2 or 3 visits and each time was told I would get the approval in the next week or so. I just smiled and nodded politely like it was new information since that is how he presented it.

He looked over our birth plan and was fine with all but a few points. I’ll make the few revisions he talked about and bring it with me to show Dr. B next time and hopefully everything will be set. He said keeping the baby with us before they do the state tests will not be a problem.

I start weekly appointments next week and will get my GBS test which sounds like tons of fun.

After I left I realized I still have not gotten my disability paperwork and next week is my last visit before my leave is supposed to start so I cannot forget to ask for it.

I was just thinking now how close you are to having Keelin. You realize Paul was 41/2 weeks early and you are pretty close to that. But I think you will make it to the due date or beyond. But it is nice to think that Keelin could be born now and not face too many problem health wise. I can't wait it is going to be wonderful.
