By everyone’s count I am now in the second trimester. Yay for us. Things are pretty uneventful. Symptoms are minimal, not enough to complain about. I’m having way less heartburn this time than I did with Keelin, I think that means this kid is supposed to be bald.
Here’s the latest with getting to a dr. feel free to skip this.
I finally got my insurance card and so I made another appointment with my pcp Tuesday so that I could get a referral to see an ob. I got there peed in a cup, thanked them for their lame congratulation, and told them which ob I wanted to be referred to. Someone at my IPA office told them that while that ob is in my group he will have to refer me somewhere else because I have to deliver at
Keelin News
Keelin likes to play with my mom’s keys and we like to let her because when she accidently pushes the panic button on her keyless entry it freaks her out and she gets the funniest O.S look on her face and throws the keys down and runs!
She has learned about the darker side of cute shoes. Her jelly’s, the ones she picked out, gave her blisters on both feet and she STILL wanted to ware them. She’d take a few steps than bend in half touching her shoes, whining, trying to figure out what the deal was. And I am sure there is no one else in the world I would put band-aids on while kicking and ranting just so they could wear some silly shoes.
She loves to dip things in sauce, we are working on getting her to eat the item and now just suck the sauce off.
She makes the best stinky face when she doesn’t like what is happening at the moment and the best surprise face when she does.
At her last dr visit we were given an order to have her blood drawn. I have been putting it off hoping Pablo and I could both go but it just hasn’t happened so when I went in to get mine done I did hers too and it was AWFUL! I will never go alone again. They took 4 vials from her, and had to switch arms and people half way though because I was having a hard time holding her still. I will say I think the people at the lab did a better job than the nurse at the dr office because neither of her arms bruised this time and they were really quick about getting the needle in and things started.
I have been asked how many words she says and what they are so I thought I’d make a list and where better to do it than the blog.
