Facebook has made me a terrible blogger. Have I said that before? If I have it’s because it’s true. I used to update regularly and post pic, now I make quick comments on facebook and post pic once a month. I was 11 weeks pregnant this time, but there will be no record of that.
Last Thursday I went to my PCP to get a referral to see an ob (a referral the insurance companies says I don’t need but both dr says I do). When I made the appointment I told the nurse I would not have my insurance card yet as 7/1/ was the first day the insurance would be effective, no problem she say’s well just call and verify your benefits. I get there they call and I’m told my benefits were cancelled in 09, true but this is a new plan effective today, would you like the card I was given when applying with a reference number on it, no thanks the nurse says and calls again with the same outcome. I go home call and am told my benefits were cancelled, explain this is a new plan, give the reference number and am found. Turns out I was not going to be assigned my member ID number till noon that day. I called let the dr office know I could tell the nurse was taking close notes of everything I said. I should have called blue cross after noon that day, and I should have called Friday, and Monday but I don’t like dr or hospitals and all these hoops I’m having to jump through are making me lose all motivation to get an appointment. I should have my card in the next couple of days so I’ll make an appointment then.
One thing I did not have to jump though a hoop for was a gender determination ultrasound. Our appointment is 7/17/10 at 4:00pm. Pablo and I have no idea what this baby is but I put a poll in the upper left so please guess away.
And if you are going to base your guess off some unreliable old wives tail here are some details.

I was sick till I weaned keelin at 7 weeks and since have felt much better.
Even though I felt crapy I never actually throw up (I did twice with keelin)
I’m not emotional or moody everyone just says and does the wrong things
No you cannot come hang your wedding ring over my belly by a strand of hair and I will not be peeing on draino.

I really like her. She is starting to say more and more words and it’s super fun. She is so silly too and I think she knows it. She is stingy with her hugs and kisses but that makes getting them all the more fun. She is running all over and scraping up her knees, but she is tough and doesn't let it slow her down. Work was slow so I was off from Thursday to Monday and it was super fun
We went to the park
For a long walk to shop for a new car, the walk was nice the new car thing blew
We went swimming twice
And we went to the Arboretum which was awesome. She loved it and I think I want to get a family pass.

Sounds good to me! But I can't believe they're doing a gender u/s so early...like 14 weeks? I have no idea if they're even going to be able to see anything at that point. At least I know they couldn't verify my daughter was a girl until my 18 week ultrasound. Good luck, though! I think it's a boy. :-)
I hate dealing with insurance and hospitals, but sometimes it just has to be done. *sigh*
My vote is that it's going to be a boy =)
