Full Term

but in no hurry. Today marks 37 weeks which is a nice mile stone. Being considered full term means Tierney can come anytime and should be fully cooked. For awhile I thought it’d be nice if she came during this next week so that we could have 2 tax write off’s in 2010 but I think we’ll actually appreciate the write off more 17 years from now when Keelin is over 18 and we have 2 incomes. The Spring semester starts February 28 and I’ll be attending full time so it would be nice if she comes by the 17th so I have 6 full weeks before all that craziness starts. In the end a few days or a week is not going to make that much of a difference so whenever she is ready is fine with me.

I’ve been shopping and have gotten most of the items I think we need. I ordered a swing and when it came last week Pablo put it together but I have not done anything else to prepare for her arrival. I have not washed any clothes or bedding and have not put any of Keelin’s old baby items together such as the bouncer. I did take the infant car seat out of the garage and took it apart so I can be wash it, now I just need to do it. I filled out most of the pre admit paperwork and my mom made copies of my medical card and medical directive now I just need to turn it all in. I want to update/rewrite the birth plan we used with Keelin, I should probably get on that. I also need to figure out what to pack for the hospital and then pack the bag. I feel pretty confidant I have most of the next 3 weeks maybe even a day or two extra but I should probably start chipping away at things next week.

The rain and being stuck inside was not good for Keelin’s mood hopefully the weather stays on the nicer side and we can get back to taking walks and going to the park. I have also let her sleep schedule get out of wack. Having her sleep in till 9 or 10 is nice especially since Pablo is off work till after the 1st of the year but she has already had a couple of crazy nights where she is up for 3 hours, and I know I need to get her back on track before the baby comes. Grandma bought her a potty a few months back and over this last week she has had a few surprise successes which is exciting. Hopefully when we potty train this summer things go smoothly.

I've really been slaking off with the belly pictures but I'm going to do my best to get one taken tomorrow and every week till she comes.

It's funny, I thought of you this morning before seeing your post and wondered when you were going to be full term. How funny is that! I can't believe we're almost there!! I can't wait to see pics. :-)
