We go for check ups on the 7th so I'll update her weight and length then. I know she is getting nice and chubby and she has long arms and long legs, but I don't know that she is tall.
Overall she is pretty content and easy, but when she is mad its all over and she is not always easy to sooth.
I have not figured out her eating scheduled yet, or she just doesn't have one. She is for sure not hungry every 2-3 hrs and if I try and get her to eat before she is ready she gets pretty irritated with me. In addition to how often she eats, the length of time she nurses for varies. Sometimes its 10 min other times its 30 min, oh and around 7pm when I am putting her to bed she wants to nurse endlessly but I think I am more of a pacifier than food at that point.
I cannot get over how easy she is to nap. After being awake for about an hour I stand with her for a couple minuets while she settles, take her upstairs swaddle her, put her in her bed, pat and sshh her a little and she is off to sleep. Bed time is not so easy but I think that is because I cannot get her third nap right and so she is usually either overtired or undertired.
When she wakes up she is content to lay in her bed for quite awhile, which is always nice but I really appreciate it in the mornings as it makes things so much smoother. Keelin is up between 6:30 (ugh) and 7 and not having to get Tierney out of bed till 8 or 8:30 gives me time to get us both breakfast and dressed.
Tierney is super chatty and I love it. It started with the light fixture in the office, than she started talking to the picture on the living room wall, and finally the family. She coos and moves her tongue and mouth and waits for a response then gives the biggest smile ever. My favorite though is when she talks to Keelin, I'm not sure who enjoys the interaction more Tierney or Keelin.
There were a few days in a row this month that Keelin decided to hurt her on purpose, but it seems she is back to hugs and kisses and being a great big sister.
My goal for this next month is to get a picture of Tierney's smile complete with dimple.
but for now here are some 2 month pictures.
